Stevie Howell

Stevie Howell’s tenure as Poet-in-Residence will run from October 2019 to June 2020. Stevie, along with selected mentees, will be a featured guest at VERSeFest, Ottawa’s international poetry festival, in 2021.

All those who submit their poems to Arc will be be considered for participation in the program. However, all poets are welcome to participate, and interested parties should please send queries to: coordinatingeditor@arcpoetry.ca.

Stevie Howell's second collection of poetry, I left nothing inside on purpose, won the 2019 Raymond Souster Award & was a finalist for the Pat Lowther & Trillium Awards. Her poetry & literary criticism has been published in numerous publications in Canada and abroad, & she has previously worked as the poetry editor for This Magazine. Stevie lives in Victoria, BC.
