Arc’s Poet-in-Residence program offers the country-wide community of writers an opportunity to work one-on-one with an influential Canadian poet to hone and shape their poems over a one-month period. 30 to 60 poets participate each year. The program is open to all interested poets, but ideal participants are those who have not yet published a poetry collection or chapbook. Many poets (including Stephanie Roberts, Christine McNair, Ben Ladouceur, and Phoebe Wang) have successfully used the program to further their literary careers.
