Curated by Tanya Evanson—Montreal-based poet, performer, and director of the Spoken Word program at The Banff Centre—this vocal issue of Arc Poetry Magazine includes:

  • spoken word poems from Lillian Allen, RC Weslowski, and Moe Clark;
  • essays on the art and history of spoken word in Canada from George Elliott Clarke, Alexandra Oliver, and Sheri-D Wilson; and,
