Kayla Calder runs Verso Arts Advisory, an Ottawa-based consultancy serving clients such as the Canadian Independent Booksellers Association, the League of Canadian Poets, and The Writers’ Union of Canada, as well as organizations working in community development. She previously worked in fund development, communications, and operations with the Writers’ Trust of Canada, the Toronto International Book Fair, and Women of Influence. She has training in publishing, fundraising, public policy, financial management, and HR and is an active member of the Arts Consultants of Canada.
