Adele Graf grew up outside New York City and immigrated to Canada in 1968. She worked as a writer and editor, and taught writing in the public and private sectors in Ottawa and Halifax. math for couples (Guernica Editions, April 2017) is her first poetry book. Her first chapbook is a Baltic Friday early in grey (above/ground press, August 2017). Her second chapbook, Directions to Suffern NY circa 1950, won the 2018 TREE chapbook contest and was published by TREE. Her poetry has appeared in Canadian journals including The Antigonish Review, CV2, The Dalhousie Review, EVENT, The Fiddlehead, Room and Vallum.
