The February prompt is: “light”

 

As US poet Amanda Gorman wrote in “The Hill We Climb”

“…there is always light,
if only we’re brave enough to see it.
If only we’re brave enough to be it.”

I’d love to read your poems about light—the sun, the moon, the stars, the aurora borealis, bioluminescence. Candles, old-time gas lamps, and incandescent bulbs, flickering screens. The spark of an idea, the glimmering of hope, the glow of happiness or understanding. The relief of setting down heavy burdens. The “lightness of being.”

However you want to interpret it, let’s lighten up.
