Out of another long Canadian winter, Arc is pleased to release a new issue of Canadian poetry, essays, and reviews.
Di Brandt, our 2016 – 2017 Poet-in-Residence, shares a long poem composed during her tenure, and selected four poets she worked with to share two poems workshopped with Brandt.
Essays in this issue explore some of the ways poetry can have an impact on society, and Arc’s Poetry Editor, Doyali Islam, continues the How Poems Work feature with a deep dive into Soraya Peerbaye’s “Rainfall” from Tell: poems for a girlhood (Pedlar Press, 2015).
