Poetry collection: We make the air: The collected poetry of Lina Chartrand appeared posthumously in 1998
Lina Chartrand was an educator, a playwright, dramaturge, screenwriter, actor and theatre administrator and director, and wrote poetry. After Chartrand’s death in 1994, her friends and family collaborated with the journal CV2 to commemorate at once the artist and the activist: alongside her theatre career, Chartrand was an advocate against racial, financial, legal, sexual and physical discrimination.
