Arc Poetry Magazine will soon introduce a short section of chapbook reviews.
Scheduled to begin this summer, the reviews will focus on recent Canadian work. They may be detailed discussions of a single chapbook or may be omnibus reviews. They may consider the work of a particular publisher or may take a thematic approach. We expect them to be different each time, and have arranged for a different reviewer for each issue. The first two will be Pearl Pirie and Matt Hader.

Arc accepts unsolicited poetry manuscripts each year from September 1 to May 31.
Arc no longer accepts paper submissions.

Arc accepts unsolicited submissions of previously unpublished poems, on any subject, in any form, from September through May.
Manuscripts must not exceed 5 pages total.
Only one manuscript per poet will be accepted during each calendar year.

Arc Poetry Magazine is looking for submissions of poetry—or prose about poetry—that takes the North as its pole star. We are looking for writing from the North and/or about the North in its many guises. We don’t take the North as a given and encourage submissions that engage with and challenge ideas and histories of the North.
We encourage submissions of diverse Northern voices, poetry styles, and languages (submissions in English, French, Inuit languages, Dené, and Cree are welcome; however, submissions in languages other than English [...]

We are open to themed series of artworks from Canadian artists, as well as broader selections from an artist’s corpus. Please submit a selection of at least ten images for us to consider, and no more than twenty. We will choose up to ten pieces for publication, including two for use on front and back covers. Most often, only one artist is featured in each issue. (Please be sure your submission does not exceed the total memory size specified!).
